# Runtime Dashboard Toolkit — Quick Start

Runtime charts, gauges, tables, and alerts for games, management screens, and simulations.

## Requirements and scope

- UI system: Canvas-native uGUI; Screen Space Overlay examples
- Editor baseline: Unity 2022.3.62f2; consult the package compatibility matrix for other configurations
- Data inputs: Direct C#, events, ScriptableObjects, Inspector samples, and local JSON
- External services: No account or external API required

Designed for runtime Canvas/uGUI interfaces. Validate performance and rendering in your target project. Explicit table paging is part of the upcoming maintenance update; check release notes before relying on that feature.

## Setup

1. Install uGUI, then import Assets/RuntimeDashboardToolkit.
2. Open Scenes/PrefabGalleryDemo.unity to inspect the components, or choose one of the complete dashboard examples.
3. Drag Prefabs/Charts/RuntimeLineChart.prefab under a Canvas and assign it to your data-owning component.
4. Send values with the direct API or connect an event source. Apply a theme and test your target viewport.

## API excerpt

Illustrative excerpt; assign the referenced components in your project.

```text
using Jackmirza.RuntimeDashboard;
// Call on your assigned RuntimeLineChart.
chart.Clear();
chart.MaximumPoints = 64;
chart.Append(frameTime);
